Fossils

The following is a listing of hominin fossil specimens. Currently the listing contains over 1,200 fossils covering all hominin fossils from the Omo-Turkana Basin in northern Kenya and southern Ethiopia as of November 2025. The listing is also nearly complete for all type fossils associated with names appearing on the Fossil Nomina page. Fossils are listed by their catalog numbers including any lettered suffixes indicating skeletal elements that are part of a single individual organism.
